The 20mm f/2.8 Di III OSD M 1:2 Lens from Tamron; a flexible wide-angle prime designed for full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. This lens uses a modestly bright maximum aperture to achieve a svelte and lightweight profile that is ideal for every day, walkaround shooting. Also contributing to its versatility is a half-life-size 1:2 maximum magnification ratio and 4.3" minimum focusing distance for working with close-up subjects. An OSD stepping motor achieves fast and near-silent autofocus performance along with a full-time manual focus override. Wide-angle prime is designed for full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras, however is also suitable for use with APS-C models where it provides a 30mm equivalent focal length. Three LD (Low Dispersion) elements reduce chromatic aberrations and color fringing in order to produce increased clarity and color fidelity. BBAR (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection) coating has been applied to lens elements to reduce surface reflections and prevent lens flare and ghosting for increased contrast and color accuracy. OSD stepping motor offers especially quiet, fast, and precise autofocus performance along with full-time manual focus override.

The compact design makes it the perfect travel companion and fits easily in my pocket without adding any fillings. The processing quality feels solid and balanced, reducing the durability of outdoor drives. That slim exterior seamlessly complements my Sony camera and creates a professional and stylish coherent look.
One of the great features of this lens is its impressive optical quality. The sharpness on the frame is noticeable, even if it is opened at F 2.8. The photos I took are wonderful contrast and crisp, and will be a post that processes kids' play. The lens also handles color anomalies and distortions very effectively, ensuring that my photos are clean and faithful. It is clear that Tamron prioritizes the optical excellence of this design.
The focus of performance is another area that looks like this lens. The fast and quiet autofocus system allows you to grasp moments without obstacles. This is especially useful for spontaneous recordings. The minimal focus is very close, allowing for interesting perspectives and creative composition. The manual focus ring provides smooth control over fine adjustments and gives you confidence if you need to accurately focus on challenging lighting conditions.
The Apertur ranges from F 2.8 to 122, with various control over field depth and exposure. We enjoyed experimenting in different environments to achieve different artistic effects. The lens plays spectacularly in poor lighting conditions and creates bright, transparent images without the need for additional lighting. Compatible with Sony's internal stabilization further improves ease of use and makes it comfortable in weak environments. It offers the perfect combination of quality, portability and affordability, making it perfect for landscape, architecture or everyday photography. I am very pleased with my purchase and look forward to exploring more creative recordings with this lens. It is definitely a reliable addition to my camera kit and would recommend it to other enthusiasts looking for a powerful wide-angle lens
